Mini vehicles
  • Overall unit sales of mini vehicles in Japan decreased year-on-year for the fourth consecutive fiscal year even though the new Alto and a new Palette-based model were launched.
  • Suzuki’s share of Japan’s mini-vehicle market was 32.7% (0.7 percentage point up year-on-year).
Non-mini vehicles
  • Overall unit sales of non-mini vehicles decreased year-on-year for the second consecutive fiscal year owing to decreased sales of models such as the Swift.
  • Suzuki’s share of Japan’s non-mini-vehicle market was 2.1% (0.9 percentage point down year-on-year).

Total sales volume decreased year-on-year for the fourth consecutive fiscal year.
