A Suzukifs compact car gSwifth was awarded a Special Achievement Awards gMost
Funh in the Car of the Year Japan 2005-2006 (run and sponsored by the COTY Executive
Committee) in the final ballot on 8th-9th
Suzuki gSwifth was developed with a concept of a Bold Style & Dynamic
Drive.It pursued high levels of Styling and Dynamic Performance through the
repeated tests in Japan and Europe, and is found to be a globally attractive
model.
The gSwifth, produced since November 2004 in Japan, Hungary, India, and China
accordingly has been produced accumulated around 168,000 units until October
2005, and has been well-accepted worldwide.
Furthermore, as a flagship of gSwifth, gSwift Sporth with higher grade of dynamics
was launched in Japanese market in September 2005.The gSwift Sporth, developed
with a concept of Real Sports Compact achieved a combination of sporty design
and the dynamic performance, adopting newly developed 1.6L Petrol engine and
specially tuned suspension system.It also meets the demand for Fun to Drive of
various customers.
