Suzuki Dealerships Growing and Glowing Around the Globe
Suzuki
dealer State 8 Motorcycles, in Akron, Ohio USA, presented a highly successful
all-terrain vehicles (ATV) promotion last November called 2002 Quad Fair. Salesman Ryan Kelson and his colleagues produced the event based on the slogan YOUR FUN IS OUR COMMITMENT. They built an obstacle course on the dealerships three acres with big rocks, big logs and tons of dirt, even a giant mud pit and added a 600 ft. straightaway. Aiming at the strong utility market among hunters and sportsman in Ohio, the team obtained five ATVs from the Suzuki demo programme and invited participation by Fin Feather Fur Outfitters, a hunting super store that sponsored a crossbow demo and giveaway. The Quad Fair attracted serious ATV riders wanting to really test and compare ATVs, as well as people who had never driven one before. Mr. Kelson says the event was so successful because it was fun for everyone involved, and there was not a single accident in the over 100 test rides.
XL-7 Series, Jimny, Ignis and Wagon R+. Almost a year ago, Suzuki Maroc boldly decided to remove all the former job titles from the companys business and ID cards and replaced all of them with a single new title that translates as for customer service or to care for the customer. Even the cards of President Hassan Bamarouf and General Manager Abderrahim Benkirane were included in the change! This daring experiment, in a country where social status and personal titles are very important, is a bold and innovative step toward highlighting teamwork and strengthening the customer service orientation it takes to lead a regional market. |
