Locally Admired Restoration of 1987 Suzuki Carry
Mr. Harry Fincham of Australias Arnhem Land, Northern
Territory is deeply devoted to his 1987 Suzuki Carry. Recently he sent
us a big tribute to the Suzuki original designers and the dedicated employees
who built this superb, gutsy little truck, very finely detailed.
Mr. Fincham was given the truck because it was a wreck. I have patiently
renewed every, every part, and kept it clean, he writes. As the photos show,
Mr. Fincham did a great job, with the result that everybody in town is always
praising it up.

100,000km Plus and Still in High Class Condition
For 15 years, Mr. R. P. Tiwari of Bhopal, India, has relied
on his Maruti 800. In a letter to Maruti Udyog Ltd., Mr. Tiwari expressed his
satisfaction: It has done above 100,000km, but still it is in high class
condition and I have not spent any money on the maintenance of the engine except
a little expenditure on body and upholstery. The most amazing thing is that my
vehicle gives average of 23km per litre. I thank you very much for producing such
a wonderful vehicle.

Happy Shogun Owners Explain Model's Indonesian Popularity
Suzukis FD110X motorcycle, called the Shogun in Indonesia,
has marked up sales of 545,000 units in the five and a half years since its debut
there. Two happy Shogun users from Surabaya speak very positively of their cycles.
Civil servant Mr. Ismu Sumarno says: I was very satisfied with my first
Shoguns excellent fuel efficiency and powerful acceleration, so when the
mileage became high, I purchased a new Shogun. I commute on it and enjoy long
holiday trips on it with my family. Even on a 100km tour with passenger, the Shogun
ride is comfortable and fatigue-free. I love the new design and always recommend
the cycle to my friends.
Schoolteacher Mr. Yusuf Setiawan declares: I also traded in a Shogun for
a new model with sporty stripes. I drive more than 50km daily, so the low fuel
consumption is great. The acceleration leaves other vehicles behind, even carrying
passengers or luggage. My next cycle will also be a Shogun.
