Suzuki unveiled its flagship 4-stroke outboard, the new DF300, for European Suzuki Marine distributors, marine journalists and boat builders at a special event 27 August to 29 in Stockholm, Sweden.
The DF300 has the highest power rating among 4-stroke outboards. At the product presentation, participants showed intense interest in Suzuki’s advanced technologies such as Suzuki Precision Control System (Electronic Throttle and Shift System).
To demonstrate the full potential of this high performance product, four different types of boats equipped with DF300 were provided for the test ride.
The participants were attracted by the outboard’s exceptional power. Its quiet operation and superior fuel efficiency were welcomed with big surprise.

Service Seminars for New DF300 Held at Suzuki HQ

In October, Suzuki headquarters hosted a service seminar in two sessions for the big new DF300 outboard motor. The first session 9–12 October was attended by 30 staff members from 23 distributors across North America and Europe. For the second session, 28 service staff members of 16 distributors came from the regions of Asia, the Middle East and Oceania.
The DF300, a 4-stroke outboard motor equipped with electronic remote control system and boasting the world’s biggest horsepower, attracted enthusiastic attention from participants. In addition to lectures about the DF300’s new system, the participants took workshop training in installation and assembly/disassembly at the Inasa training centre. Test rides on Lake Hamana using the DF300 completed the service seminars under beautiful weather conditions. |
