European Auto Press Tests Liana in Italy
Suzuki invited 240 motor journalists to the Pan-European Press
Test of the Liana, held June 19—22 in Stresa, a lakeside city in northern
Italy. The event offered test ride workouts with 50 Lianas, the Suzuki multi-purpose
vehicle for 21st century, developed under the concept of Life In A New Age and
introduced in March at the Geneva Motor Show. Automotive journalists enjoyed the
model’s superb performance and comfortable ride on the varying road conditions
of a 43.3km circular course, which started at the Grand Hotel des Iles Borromées
and followed winding roads with spectacular views of Lake Maggiore.
