Amsterdam Motor Show Attracts Massive Crowds  At
the Amsterdam Motor show held from 6–18 February, the Grand Vitara XL-7 as
well as the EV Sport and Ignis Rally car were introduced to the European market
by a 756m2 Suzuki exhibit.Equipped with a DOHC V6, 2.7-litre engine, the Grand Vitara XL-7 is a beautifully styled SUV for both on- and off-road enjoyment. Its lengthened wheelbase enables a seven-passenger capacity with seats in three rows and luggage space can be expanded by varying seat configuration. The 87,000m2 exhibition of automotive information and activities attracted 490,019 visitors. Wagon R+ Foils UK Break-In Experts The United Kingdom’s top weekly motoring magazine, Auto Express, has selected the Suzuki Wagon R+ as the most thief-proof vehicle on sale in the UK. The magazine’s annual anti-theft security survey of 50 vehicles, from compact to luxury, was conducted 15 May by a team of locksmiths, who rated the cars according to how quickly they could break in. Although some models were cracked in only three seconds, the Suzuki Wagon R+ foiled an intensive five-minute break-in attack, far surpassing even European luxury cars. The Wagon R+ is the first car in its price range not to be broken into during the survey’s five-year history. One expert said: "We are really impressed." |
