The 3.6 litre V6 engine is the largest engine ever made by Suzuki. The DOHC, 4-valves-per-cylinder format contributes to its excellent power, which offers outstanding fuel efficiency. The engine is mounted in a double-isolated engine cradle system to reduce noise and vibration being transmitted into the cabin. A host of refinements such as the aluminium engine block and cylinder heads contribute to the engine's light weight, outstanding durability, fuel efficiency and exciting performance.

The AWD system routes most of the engine's power to the front wheels to optimise fuel economy. When sensors detect wheel slip, the electronic control divides power between the front and rear wheels for extra traction. Primarily intended for use on roads in adverse weather conditions, it also provides excellent traction and mobility off-road.
